How official free energy links work
Each link is a one-tap gift. Open it on the phone where Travel Town is installed, let the game finish the redeem flow, and energy credits if the drop is still live and your account has not claimed it yet.
Drops often come in batches of a few links per day. Amounts are usually in the 10–25 energy range. That is enough to finish a stuck order or push an event board — not an infinite bar.

- Allow the app to open. Wait for the confirmation.
- Check your energy bar before you leave.
If a browser page sits in between, finish the handoff. Closing early is the usual miss. Guest profiles after a reinstall can also swallow gifts — confirm the town name first.
Other ways to get energy (besides links)
Energy regenerates over time, so short breaks still help. The Loyalty Club and daily login gifts are worth collecting on a schedule. Connecting Facebook the first time usually grants a one-time energy bonus.
Inviting a friend who actually installs and links their account can pay a larger energy reward than a single free link. Events and villager progress also drip energy — use free links when you are mid-order, not when the bar is already half full.
Tips so energy lasts
Merge toward the order tray, not random high-tier clutter. A full board forces panic sells that waste both items and the energy you just claimed.
Save a fresh link for the moment you are two or three actions from finishing a stuck order. Claiming the second you log in while the bar is already healthy wastes the gift on regen you would have gotten anyway.
Event boards burn energy faster than the main map. On event days, claim earlier. Overnight expiry is real.
Safety

Keep one inventory slot free when you can. After a free energy bump, clear junk first, then chase the order. When villagers request awkward items, check for a cheaper alternate path before dumping a whole gift into a rare chain.
The Loyalty Club is easy to forget and worth a regular check-in — it stacks with official link claims instead of replacing them.
